1. What is SMILE WELFARE FOUNDATION all about?

Smile welfare foundation is an extrapolation of dreams of few youngsters, who want to bring a socio-economic change into the society. Over the years, this dream has infected many of their co-workers, friends and is transforming into a movement. We started with a very simple idea 'To bring Smiles to as many as possible by us'. Over the years, as we evolve and learn as individuals and as an organization, our means to reach the goals may change in the process of improvisation. But the goals remain the same.

  2. How does SMILE want to bring the socio-economic change?

Bringing about a socio-economic change in a society is a big task. Various sections of the society and their varying needs should be addressed to bring about a comprehensive change. We believe that children are the foundation of any society as they are the ones who define its future. Unfortunately they are the most vulnerable and worst affected because of socio-economic backwardness. Alas! No one has the right to choose his/her parents or where he/she should be born! No child should be at a disadvantage for being born as him/her.

We strongly believe, providing underprivileged children with love, care and quality education will help them defy their 'destiny' and to unleash the potential within them to become a successful and responsible human being contributing to the well being of the family and society, in the process bringing about the transformation which we want to see around us.

  3. Where does SMILE get fund for its operations?

SMILE’s operations are entirely funded by the periodic (Monthly/Quarterly) contributions from its members.

Each month, we circulate a detailed report to all our members and contributors on the amount of money collected and how it was spend. 100% transparency is our commitment to the members.
